Nick Gentry, a British artist, finds art and beauty in the obsolete media materials — the negative films and floppy disks — from the ancient days. 🙂 The artist creates elegant portrait paintings out of these otherwise trash of the 21st century. The portraits are strikingly fascinating, with neatly arranged films and disks offering a unique experience to the viewers. Enjoy these amazing portraits, along with the interesting little images in them.
Gentry has done numerous exhibitions in various galleries and museums. Currently, he has a solo exhibition curated by Opera Gallery London for and in partnership with fashion designer Ozwald Boateng. His upcoming event titled Synthetic Dreams will be held at Robert Fontaine Gallery in Miami this November 8th thru 30th. Please check out his Website’s Exhibition page for more info.
