Winners of Sony World Photography Awards 2014. See a few images that captured the best moments.

World Photography Organisation (WPO) has announced the winners of 2014 Sony World Photography Awards in three categories: Open, Youth and National Award. The winners were chosen from more than 70,000 entries from around the world. According to WPO, the achievement of this year’s winners is extraordinary considering the immensity of submitted images and the photographers themselves are not professional, “but individuals who are passionate about photography, enthusiasts and amateurs.”
