Oscar Pistorius breaks silence on Reeva Steenkamp’s death

Oscar Pistorius, the South African paralympian who was charged for shooting his girlfriend dead last year Valentine’s day, posted a note on his website.

No words can adequately capture my feelings about the devastating accident that has caused such heartache for everyone who truly loved – and continues to love Reeva.

The pain and sadness – especially for Reeva’s parents, family and friends consumes me with sorrow.

The loss of Reeva and the complete trauma of that day, I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Pistorius, 27, broke his long silence on Steenkamp’s death. His post on website says it all — love, pain, sadness, sorrow, heartache and trauma. He said the death was a “devastating accident” and he will carry it with him “for the rest” of his life.
