President Ahmadinejad of Iran Delivered Speech at United Nation
Iran President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, delivered a speech before the U.N. General Assembly on Wednesday. The event was the annual gathering of world leaders at United Nation.
Albeit his speech was somewhat conciliatory compared to his previous speeches, he nevertheless lashed out at Israel, whose delegates were not present due to Yom Kippur holy day.
He said, “Continued threat by the uncivilized Zionists to resort to military action against our great nation is a clear example of this bitter reality.”

Even “Wall Street” has not escaped his rumblings for “creation of worthless paper assets”.
His long speech which he wanted to have a “new world order” painted a less picturesque view of the world.
“The current abysmal situation of the world and the bitter incidents of history are due mainly to the wrong management of the world and the self-proclaimed centers of power who have entrusted themselves to the devil,” Ahmadinejad said
Prior to giving his speech, diplomats from Canada walked out. And the US delegation has chosen not to attend.
Well, not much we can do with Ahmadinejad. Whether you love him or hate him — that’s who he is. Anyway this was his final appearance before the assembly. His second term as President of Iran will end next year on August 3, 2013.
But there’s one thing we can ponder and could probably go along with:
He declared that he represented “a great and proud nation that was a founder of human civilization.”
Yes, the people of Iran who once cradled a great civilization. We can start from there and hopefully we all together could foster a genuine peace and harmony in this world we live in.
