Erkin Demir, a talented Turkish photographer, creates beautiful photo series of surreal and dreamlike portraits. He explores the creative manipulation of double exposures, fusing various elements into a single image. And the result — His subjects morphed from simple portraits to fascinating photographs of human body adorned with landscape and architecture.

Artist’s Statement:

“Born in 1989 Ankara, Turkey. Studied business administration at Koc University. Always interested about visual arts but in college years, fashion photography became a passion. Worked as a lighting assistant at Honeybee photo management, shot several jobs and contributed lots of high-end editorial shoots of Vogue Tr, Harpers Bazaar and L’officiel as lighting and camera assistant. Working as a freelance photographer now, I’m trying to reflect my point of view and fantasies on fashion photographs.”
