20 of the Best Shortlist – 2015 Sony World Photography Awards

The World Photography Organization has just announced the shortlist for this year 2015 Sony World Photography Awards. Only a handful of images were selected out of a staggering 173,444 entries submitted from 171 countries. Below are 20 of the best shortlisted photos, a highlights selection from across the Professional, Open and Youth competitions. The overall winners will be announced on April 23, and will be exhibited along with the rest of the selected shortlist at Somerset House in London from April 24 – May 10.
