Christina Mrozik draws incredibly beautiful human and animal portraits, bursting with bright colors and emotions. The portraits are rendered in surreal narratives, where the subjects are adorned with floral landscape and other stuff. Each piece tells a story of natural order of nature as it plays within the realm of order and chaos. Truly, the artist has an amazing imaginative mind.

Artist’s Statement:

“I was born and raised in Grand Rapids Michigan along the banks of the Grand River. It was here, knee deep in mud, where my deep curiosity and respect for nature started. I attended Grand Valley State University in which I received my BFA with an emphasis in Illustration and graduated with honors in 2009. I now live downtown making art and building friendships and community.”
