Matthew Grabelsky: Surreal Dreamscape Paintings — a series of beautiful coexistence of humans and animals
New Yorker artist Matthew Grabelsky, currently lives in Los Angeles, paints his surreal dreamscapes in subway scenes, where humans and animals get along just fine. The supposedly scary predators, perhaps semi-human, behave like gentlemen, and romantically involved with real, gorgeous women. The fascinating artwork seems to suggest that the animals are truly part of the human race. Yep, the new era of evolution has come to New York — at least, in the beautiful mind of Grabelsky. :)
Enjoy these dreamlike and photo-realistic paintings.
“My work is not intended to be viewed as fantasy or as allegory, but rather as a blend of every-day experiences and the subconscious. My paintings are enigmatic, and they create dream-like worlds that invite viewers to form their own interpretations of the imagery presented.”
