Alex and Sierra — The X Factor USA 2013 Winners

Alex Kinsey and Sierra Deaton  — Tonight’s winner of Fox reality singing competition, The X Factor USA 2013.

The duo has been mentored by no-nonsense Simon Cowell.  But the main factor that catapulted them to the top was their “love” to each other coupled with their love-laden songs. People, especially teenagers, simply could not resist the love permeating the atmosphere whenever Alex & Sierra sing.  The audience could not help but scream, and the Facebook, Twitter, iTunes and Youtube have been buzzing as well.

When Mario Lopez announced the winner, Alex and his girlfriend Sierra were overwhelmed.  This is what Alex said after the announcement, “We’re speechless. I don’t even know. This is incredible. Thank you to everybody that’s voted. Thank you! Oh man.”

Jeff Gutt, a single dad and an amazing rocker who rendered the song “Dream On”  by Aerosmith on Wednesday night, captured the 2nd place. Carlito Olivero got the third.

The first place winner will bag 1 million dollars and a Sony recording contract.
