Ed Fairburn Creates Portrait Drawings on Street Map Canvas — unique and beautifully rendered
Ed Fairburn, an English artist, uses street maps as the canvas of his portrait drawings. Each featured image below is meticulously rendered, depicting a seamless coalescence of facial portrait and the map. The street lines and boundaries seem to traverse the map in such a way they look like as the integral parts of the portrait. Or it seems the portrait had always been there, and the topography simply corresponds to its natural facial details and contours. Please scroll down and explore these unique and beautiful portrait drawings.
Enjoy!
