Hugh Jackman Sings “Wolverine: The Musical.” Who says he’s just all Strength and Muscle. He sings, too!
Hugh Jackman sang “Wolverine: The Musical” on Saturday at BBC Radio – The Edmonson Show.
Jackman, promoting the X-Men: Days of Future Past, stopped by the show and rendered an adaptation of “Who Am I” from Les Misérables. His voice was very strong and pleasant to hear. Yes, the Wolverine can sing!
The BBC hosts composed the song and the 45-year old X-Men hero obliged to sing it. Of course, the whole thingy was just for fun and entertainment.
Anyway, here’s some of the lyrics of “Wolverine: The Musical” from Jackman’s Instagram:
Who am I?
Am I a superhero with some claws?
Or just an actor searching for applause?
Wolverine has all the fans
But what about me, Hugh Jackman?
Who am I?
I play the wolf man, yes it’s quite the task
In Xmen days of future past
I’m at the gym doing weights each day
Hugh has got to look buff they say
Must I lie?
I can not eat this ice cream anymore
I need a body people can adore
I gave up junk food that I know
I made that bargain long ago
All my snacks and crisps they’re gone
Now this wolverive can go on
Who am I?
