Japanese Artist Hikaru Cho and her hyperreal body paintings. Scary yet Incredibly Amazing!
Student Hikaru Cho of Musashino Art University in Tokyo, Japan is no ordinary artist. She could transform your body into something out of this world with her incredible hyperreal body art.
Tired of playing around with digital photoshop, she explored the real thing with the use of acrylic paint. As she pushed her painting talent to the limit, the result was remarkable. The body art images are freakishly scary but quite impressive — from eyes on the face to batteries, zippers, laces and buttons on the body.
Okay… It’s time for you to scroll down and enjoy the amazing body paintings.

“I don’t really have a reason why I started doing those pictures. But I guess I was a little sick of everyone making pictures with their computers and wanted to see how far I can go without those technologies such as Photoshop.” ~ Hikaru Cho
“They are all painted on skin directly and I don’t use computers or anything to change the picture afterwards.” ~ Hikaru Cho
